For the longest time, I have tried to marry the world of trauma work to the world of business coaching. And even though it seemed easy in the beginning, it was quite tough for me to convey and speak the truth that
- While it is true that our brains are the seat of our business,
- That we need the sales process, the ability to show up, grow our confidence,
- Make strategic business decisions and have operations, SOPs and funnels in place,
What is truer than this is: our relationship with money is going to determine all the other surface level entrepreneurial work. Infact our relationship with money is going to determine the way we 'think and create' our business. This relationship is not an individual, isolated island to water kind of relationship. This relationship is a complex web of fungi with its mycelium running through an entire vast forest.
In today's podcast, I tread through and open up this forest and I speak about how our relationship with money is always collective, systemic and ancestral in nature. The more we are willing to explore and accept this, the easier our interaction with our business is going to be. Because after all, what is business if not a systemic effector. Through your business you are going to change, improvise and affect the lives of so many people out there. And to that, trust me, you would need 'so many people' here. And they are, your ancestors.
