This is one my most ambitious episodes, where I talk about human beings as a relational species designed to thrive in the collective. And how this very practice was compromised by the fragmentation of the world and society. This is one of the primary reasons why today we struggle to heal our individual traumas and conflicts. The idea that our nervous system is a bio-pscyho-social entity that didn’t grow and develop in isolation is a fact. Our nervous systems begin to form inside our mother’s body and it comes into existence while regulating with her nervous system. This clearly tells us that we are designed to receive and offer regulation to each other. We are designed to intercept signals and waves of connection from other nervous systems. While this as a reference point is profusely explored in explaining trauma, simply because trauma doesn’t happen in vacuum, not many of us are talking about how group dynamics and group connections equally affect and foster healing, restoration and potential of a human being. And in this episode, I am going to take you to a journey through this complex landscape. Stay with me.
