For 8 years of my career as a coach, I had no idea that I could make my business and my money making process way easier: if only I knew that I could deliberately choose thoughts I wanted to believe.
So while I was hustling to do my marketing, sparking conversations with potential clients, building relationships with people who were interested in my offers, developing strategies, in hindsight I realise I was too much in action and way less in BELIEF.
This is something my coach would say, “When you are too much in action, you are not in belief.”
And that sentence stayed with me.
It was the genesis of the most powerful tool I discovered in my business.
It was not a miraculous marketing plan. It wasn’t my audience size. It wasn’t viral content.
It was the discovery that I could choose to believe what I wanted to believe. I could choose my thoughts about my money, my business, my clients, my skills, my value. Literally everything.
I discovered most things I hoped and aspired for in my business were things I could simply DECIDE
- Ahead of time.
- Without an Evidence.
For example you could DECIDE
1. People are thinking about you.
2. They are obsessed with you.
3. They are devouring your content.
4. You are irreplaceable in their brains.
5. It doesn’t matter what you say or what you write, they have already decided to buy from you.
Do you think it makes you DELUSIONAL?
I think NOT.
Simply because choosing our thoughts deliberately is not some Magickal Wishful thinking, it’s a way of believing What we Want to Believe.
Why on earth would I want to believe in something that I wanted to versus all the crap the world gives us?
Because – it empowers me.
My belief shapes my feelings, which in turn shapes my actions and which in turn shapes my results.
When I believe “I am in people’s brains,” I show up, I speak, I perform, I communicate in a way that reflects “that very energy.”
I don’t care if someone thinks of me as delusional. My concern or outlook is not even the veracity (truth) of my thoughts.
My concern is: does it SERVE me to believe “I am in people’s brains,” versus useless thoughts like “no one wants to listen to me, no one wants to buy from me, every one thinks of me as nuisance.”
Which is why I say: you get to DECIDE.
And I call this process of deciding ahead of time, deciding even without evidence: Deliberate Thought Building Process (DTB).
